Peanut Butter Waffles Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups plus 2 tbsp. of all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp. of white sugar
  • 1 tbsp. of baking powder
  • ¼ tsp. of salt
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • ¼ cup of peanut or vegetable oil
  • 1 ¼ cups of milk
  • ½ cup of creamy standard peanut butter
  • 1 tsp. of vanilla extract
  • Butter and maple syrup for topping

How to make Peanut Butter Waffles

  1. Whisk the salt, sugar, baking powder, and flour, in a bowl; keep aside.
  2. Whisk the eggs & oil & then whisk in the milk, peanut butter, & vanilla.
  3. Grease & heat the waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  4. Add the flour mix to the egg one with a wooden spoon just until moistened (the batter should still be a little lumpy).
  5. Pour 1/2 cup into a heated waffle iron, close the lid, and cook accordingly. Serve or place the waffles on a large baking sheet in your oven, set it to 170°F, and continue making more, keeping the prepared ones warm in the oven in one layer on a large baking sheet.
  6. Serve.
