Oatmeal Waffles Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup of rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp. of baking powder
  • ½ tsp. of ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp. of salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 ½ cups of whole milk
  • 6 tbsp. of butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp. of light brown sugar

How to make Oatmeal Waffles

  1. In a bowl, add the flour, rolled oats, ground cinnamon, baking powder and dash of salt. Stir well to mix.
  2. In another bowl, add in the beaten eggs, whole milk, melted butter and light brown sugar. Whisk until evenly mixed.
  3. Pour the egg mixture in flour mixture. Stir well until just mixed.
  4. Preheat a waffle iron to medium heat. Grease with cooking spray.
  5. Pour ¼ cup of the batter in the iron. Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until the waffles are golden brown. Remove the waffle and set aside on a large plate. Repeat with the remaining waffle batter.
  6. Serve waffles with a topping of syrup.
