Nutella Waffles

Easy Nutella Waffles Recipe - Gooey Nutella sauce on Nutella flavored waffles makes this recipe simply to die for!

Nutella Waffles Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup of toasted hazelnuts, crushed
  • ¼ cup of light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. of baking soda
  • 1 tsp. of salt
  • 3 eggs, beaten and separated
  • 1 ¾ cups of buttermilk
  • ½ cup of extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ cup of Nutella spread
  • 2 tsp. of baking powder
  • 1 tsp. of pure vanilla

Nutella Sauce
  • ¼ cup of Nutella spread
  • ¼ cup of milk

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees.
  2. To make the Nutella sauce, simple mix together the milk and Nutella spread until smooth. Set aside.
  3. In a bowl, add the flour, hazelnuts, and light brown sugar, dash of salt, baking powder and soda. Mix well until mixed.
  4. Add in the beaten egg yolks, buttermilk, Nutella spread, olive oil and pure vanilla. Stir until moist.
  5. In a bowl, add the egg whites. Beat till peaks begin to form on the surface. Add the egg whites in & fold gently.
  6. Preheat a waffle iron to med heat. Grease & then pour 4tbsp of the batter in. Cover & cook for 5 mins/until the waffles are golden brown. Repeat with the remaining waffle batter.
  7. Serve with fresh cream, Nutella sauce, and more crushed hazelnuts!
