Cinnamon Roll Waffles with Icing Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup of cottage cheese
  • 4 ounces of cream cheese, soft
  • 1 cup of Bisquick
  • 1 tsp. of pure vanilla
  • 1 tsp. of baking powder
  • 1/3 cup of sweetener

Ingredients for the swirl:
  • 2 tbsp. of butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp. of sweetener
  • 2 tbsp. of powdered cinnamon
Ingredients for the icing:
  • 4 ounces of cream cheese, soft
  • ¼ cup of sweetener

How to make Cinnamon Roll Waffles with Icing

  1. Prepare the waffles. In a food processor, add in the cottage cheese. Pulse until smooth in consistency. Add in the soft cream cheese, Bisquick, pure vanilla, sweetener and baking powder. Continue to pulse until mixed.
  2. Prepare the swirl. In a bowl, add in the melted butter, powdered cinnamon and sweetener. Whisk until mixed.
  3. Grease a preheated waffle iron to the medium setting. Grease on both sides with cooking spray.
  4. Next, spoon 1/3 cup of the batter onto the waffle iron. Drizzle the swirl mix over the batter and swirl around with a knife. Close the lid, then cook for 3 to 5 minutes or until golden. Transfer onto a plate. Repeat.
  5. Prepare the icing. In a bowl, add in the soft cream cheese and sweetener. Whisk until mixed. Drizzle over the waffles.
  6. Serve.
