Carrot Cake Waffles Recipe


  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 3 tsp. of baking powder
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. of powdered cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. of powdered nutmeg
  • ¼ cup of canola oil
  • ½ cup of whole milk
  • 1 ¼ cups of carrots, chopped

Ingredients for the syrup:
  • 8 ounces of cream cheese, soft
  • 2 cups of powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp. of pure vanilla
  • ¼ to ½ cup of whole milk

How to make Carrot Cake Waffles

  1. Prepare the waffles. In a bowl, add in the all-purpose flour, baking powder, eggs, powdered cinnamon, powdered nutmeg, canola oil, whole milk and chopped carrots. Stir well until mixed.
  2. Preheat a waffle iron to medium heat. Grease on both sides with cooking spray.
  3. Pour ¼ cup of the batter onto the waffle iron. Close the lid and cook for 3 to 5 minutes or until golden. Transfer onto a plate and set aside. Repeat.
  4. Prepare the syrup. In a bowl, add in the soft cream cheese, powdered sugar and pure vanilla. Whisk until smooth in consistency. Slowly add in the whole milk and stir well to mix.
  5. Drizzle the syrup over the top of the waffles. Serve.
